An exciting opportunity exists for an appropriately skilled Gynaecologist to join the Menopause Hub based at Royal North Shore Hospital.

Employment Type: Temporary Part Time
Hours Per Week: up to 4 hours
- Organising and hosting NSLHD MenoECHO sessions
- Running minimum 2 GP education events per annum
- Supporting referral sites with GP Education activities and as a point of contact
- Producing an annual menopause update for clinicians
Provide clinical management and treatment of patients under your care within the Department of Gynaecology, Royal North Shore Hospital. This care will be provided within the scope of practice endorsed by the NSLHD Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee (MDAAC).
Selection Criteria
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) or recognition as a Specialist by the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within 3 months may be considered.

- Working towards (i.e. enrolled in) or obtained the Certificate of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI) offered by RANZCOG or equivalent.
- Appropriate experience to practice as a Senor Medical Practitioner in Gynaecology with a commitment to be on call for gynaecology.
- Demonstrable experience in management of women with health complaints related to the menopause and/or working in menopause clinics.
- Evidence of and commitment to lead and work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Evidence of and commitment to medical education including the delivery of teaching programs.
- Evidence of and commitment to quality improvement methodologies.
