Selection Criteria

  1. MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or recognition as a specialist by the Medical Board of Australia.
  2. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them
  3. Appropriate experience to practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner in General Paediatrics
  4. Demonstrated excellence in research, scholarly activities relevant to the specialty, and educational design and practice
  5. Evidence of and commitment to lead and work within a multidisciplinary team environment
  6. Significant experience in Paediatric Ambulatory Care services, including Hospital In The Home (HITH)
  7. Evidence of and commitment to medical education including the coordination of teaching programs
  8. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills and evidence of and commitment to quality improvement methodologies.

COVID-19 Vaccination Compliancy
All NSW Health workers are required to have two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, as defined by NSW Health.  Employees working in a clinical area or are required to attend clinical areas are considered category A. Category A positions are required to provide evidence of having received three doses of COVID-19 vaccine in accordance with the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (TGA) and meet the requirements of the Occupational Assessment Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy Directive.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate.
