Selection Criteria
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons or other recognition as a specialist by the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship prior to or within 3 months after the advertised contract commencement date will be considered.

- Appropriate experience to practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner in Orthopaedic (Spinal) Surgery
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching and published research as relevant to the position
- Demonstrated interest in quality improvement methodologies
