Selection Criteria
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
- Experience working in acute mental health settings and familiarity with NSW Mental Health Legislation.
- Evidence of ability to work cooperatively with other staff and practitioners in a multidisciplinary health care team environment.
- Demonstrated high level of communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing self-education and development, including evidence of participation in continuing medical education/continuing professional development.
- Preparedness to participate in the Duty Medical Officer roster including the after-hours rosters already existing or established, if requested and credentialed.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence and the ability to drive.
