Selection criteria:
  1. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
  2. Extensive experience and a record of achievement in collaborative leadership; specifically guiding subject matter expert teams through problem solving and solution design in a large and complex service environment. This includes relevant qualifications or experience; and knowledge and experience in work health and safety and/or related disciplines.
  3. Demonstrated experience leading and developing the capability of a team, and coaching and advising managers, whilst always fostering a performance based and customer focused constructive culture.
  4. Strong influencing and negotiation skills with extensive experience engaging key stakeholders and customers to achieve optimal business performance and outcomes.
  5. Highly developed organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise, meet deadlines and multi-task to achieve business goals and expectations.
  6. Superior analytical skills and attention to detail, including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
  7. Demonstrated capability in all aspects of change and project management, including leading multiple and concurrent projects and teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and implementing strategic initiatives.
  8. Sound knowledge of, and practical experience with, the structure and processes of government, including an understanding of the healthcare system, policies and processes in relation to this portfolio.
