- Current AHPRA Registration with authority to practice as a Registered Nursing Division 1. Recognised tertiary management qualification, or equivalent relevant post graduate clinical experience in mental health field, and / or a combination of study and extensive experience in mental health, drug and alcohol setting.
- Demonstrated ability in managing human resources, financial and administrative issues across a large and complex mental health service. Proven leadership skills that foster engagement.
- Demonstrated understanding of contemporary issues impacting on consumer flow and capacity to engage teams in implementing demand management strategies.
- High level planning and advisory skills and an ability to develop priorities, key objectives and strategic responses regarding clinical and operational governance within short and demanding timeframes.
- Demonstrated evidence of achieving, innovative cultural change through implementing and evaluating, performance, policies and standards pertaining to clinical nursing services across a large site.
- Advanced high level interpersonal and communication skills including advocacy and negotiation.
- Ability to analyse complex documents and provide advice on service plans and strategic direction.
