- Certified completion of Safe Food Handling through a registered training organisation or willingness to undertake such a course.
- Demonstrated understanding of safe food handling practices and the handling of food service equipment.
- Effective time management skills with ability to prepare and provide meals and snacks within required timeframes.
- Flexibility, good communication skills (both written and oral) & professionalism.
- Ability to work unsupervised and in collaboration with the broader child care team.
- Able to interact and consult with a diverse range of staff and families of the service of differing backgrounds.
- Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to undertake such a course
