We are searching for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of children in their First 2000 days (0-5 years) to join our team.

Where you'll be working
Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) Population Health Promotion Team, Brookvale Community Health Centre


What you'll be doing

Working closely with Early Childhood Education and Care services, educators and stakeholders you will support the implementation of healthy eating and active living programs across Northern Sydney. In particular, supporting the local delivery of the state-wide Munch & Move program.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in education, an allied health discipline, health promotion, public health or equivalent.
  2. Provide an example of an innovative project you have implemented in a childhood setting that aimed to improve the health and wellbeing of children. Outline the steps you took to achieve this, and the outcomes achieved.
  3. Provide an example of a time where you developed a strong working relationship with a stakeholder to achieve a mutually beneficial outcome. Outline the steps you took to develop the relationship, the issues you faced, what strategies you implemented to overcome them, and what you do differently next time.
