Hand Trauma and Surgery Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist

2. Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist, with eligibility for full membership of the Australian Hand Therapy Association.
3. Extensive clinical experience in hand and upper limb physiotherapy including novel, complex and critical management of trauma and surgery cases.
4. Relevant post-graduate qualifications and/or adjunct lecturer appointment with recognition by a professional body and/or recognition by peers as a specialist in Hand Therapy.
5. Proven ability to provide leadership and strategic direction with demonstrated ability in planning, implementing, evaluating and reporting on hand physiotherapy services.
6. Demonstrated involvement in research and ability to lead and collaborate with other members of the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) and Physiotherapy teams to contribute to research, quality improvement projects and service development. Demonstrated experience coordinating team members, teaching and supervising staff and students.
7. Demonstrated capacity to work cooperatively and effectively with medical, nursing and allied health professionals, in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
8. Capability to perform in a consultative role as a Local Health District and NSW expert in the field of Hand Trauma and Surgery Physiotherapy.
