Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital - Day Surgery Unit
What you’ll be doing:
The Day Surgery Unit works with the multidisciplinary team to provide patient services that is high quality and safe for all. Enrolled Nurse's are an integral part of the nursing team, working under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse to support and care for patients to maximise the health outcomes for the patient in the Day Surgery Unit. The role includes advocating for the patient, providing both pre operative and post operative clinical care to day only surgical and endoscopy patients as well as elective surgical patients.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic computer skills.
