Director of Nursing Primary and Community Health

1. Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency - Nursing and Midwifery Board of NSW registration without conditions and NSW Driver’s Licence; Compliance with the Key Personnel requirements as defined by the Commonwealth Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission and the National Disability Insurance Quality and Safeguards Commission, including Personal Insolvency Check; and Aged  Care Banning Order requirements.
2. Appropriate tertiary management qualifications and extensive senior manager experience working in a Community Health environment.
3. Proven ability to function as part of a senior management team and to work successfully with other professionals and disciplines in the management of health care services, including strategic planning, service development; change / project management; the development, implementation and evaluation of organisational Business / Operational Plans and improving patient access and flow between acute care and the community.
4. Demonstrated understanding of NSW Health’s Strategic Directions, the trends and developments in Primary and Community Health, the Australian and NSW health systems, Quality and Safety Framework and the Nursing and Midwifery agenda and the implications for community based services.
