What you'll be doing
Assisting in the management of a high performing Resident Support Unit (RSU) team.    
Providing expert advice, oversight, and coordination of all activities associated with JMOs including but not limited to recruitment, payroll, term allocations and rostering.    
Overseeing recruitment of International Medical Graduates (IMGs), as well as the letters of offer and associated paperwork for Honorary/Ad Hoc placements.    
Contributing to the development of systems and processes to improve the operations of the RSU.    
Liaising closely with the RSU Manager  about service delivery challenges and contribute to the development of solutions.   
Assisting the JMO Manager, and supporting the JMO Coordinators with the running of the service.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
  1. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
  2. Previous experience in a JMO Unit with demonstrated understanding of the JMO Workforce in New South Wales public hospitals and community based services is preferred, with the ability to interpret and apply industrial Awards and NSW Ministry of Health (MoH) Policy Directives and Guidelines.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in managing and leading a team in a busy environment to meet agreed performance measures.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Demonstrated customer service focus and understanding of quality management processes and principles.
  6. Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and organise resources to meet multiple demands and deadlines.
  7. Demonstrated ability to generate solutions to complex problems and develop long term strategies to address systemic challenges.
