Where you'll be working: Dalwood Spilstead Service
What you'll be doing: This role is responsible for management of a caseload of children from 12 months to 6 years from "at risk" families who have emotional, behavioural and developmental problems in a therapeutic preschool setting. Services to these children are provided according to an intensive trauma-informed early intervention approach with a ratio of 1 teacher to 5 children.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Certificate in Child Studies or equivalent.
- History of previous experience working with children with specific learning needs.
- History of previous experience working with children and families with social problems.
- Previous experience managing children with behavioural challenges.
