Where you'll be working
This position is based at Macquarie Hospital, North Ryde and will include travel to primary schools within the Northern Sydney Local Health District and some evening work to run Social & Emotional Learning (SEL) training and education seminars/webinars for teachers and parents.

What you'll be doing
You would be part of a passionate multidisciplinary team offering group clinical interventions for children and their parent/carers as well as providing parent education and teacher professional learning on how adults can support children’s social & emotional wellbeing, within an early intervention framework.  

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy or nursing and relevant registration with AHPRA and eligibility to the AASW. Meet criteria for full registration for psychologists. For nurses - relevant post registration qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualifications or such other qualifications or relevant equivalent experience.
  2. Clinical skills and experience in the assessment and treatment of children and their families presenting with complex mental health needs, using evidence-based approaches.
