Looking to join an exciting and innovative team where your skills as a Clinical Psychologist will be valued? The Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) Department of Paediatric Diabetes and Endocrinology is looking for a permanent 0.4 FTE Clinical Psychologist to form part of the Diabetes Multidisciplinary Team.

Where you'll be working
RNSH Department of Paediatric Diabetes and Endocrinology

What you'll be doing
You will join The RNSH Department of Paediatric Diabetes and Endocrinology, which cares for approximately 280 children with diabetes mellitus. The close-knit team includes 2.2 FTE Staff Specialist Paediatric Endocrinologists, 3.0 FTE Diabetes Nurse Educators, 0.8 FTE Advanced Practicing Paediatric Dietitian and Paediatric Endocrine Fellow Advanced Trainees in Paediatric Endocrinology. The Department staff provide high quality care and are active in clinical research.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Full registration with the Psychology Board Australia and Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Clinical Psychology Endorsement with AHPRA. Master's or Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology.
  2. Knowledge and experience with evidenced-based therapies including groups for children, adolescent, adults, and families in a health context.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  4. Demonstrated interest and skills in quality activities and clinical research, and, ideally, experience in providing supervision to higher degree clinical psychology students on placement.
