- A Registered Nurse who holds full AHPRA registration and has a minimum of 5 years full time post graduate experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the speciality field. In addition the applicant must have an approved post graduate qualification relevant to the speciality and hold a Masters (pertaining to speciality field) or is willing to enrol and commence a Masters in the relevant speciality field within two years of the appointment
- Proven advanced skills in clinical teaching, competency in the use of contemporary information systems and evidence of the ability to develop, implement, evaluate specialty education programs
- Evidence of experience with contributing to strategic and clinical service planning and the management of organisational and cultural change
- Ability to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the Mental Health Act and legislation, including the ability to provide advanced level of clinical advise and support to staff
- Advance knowledge and experience in clinical supervision and the ability to provide the same
- Advance level skill in contributing to multidisciplinary team care plans and evidence based interventions for consumers presenting with complex and severe psychological difficulties
