- A Registered Nurse who has a minimum of 5 years full time post graduate experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field. In addition the applicant must have an approved post graduate qualification relevant to the specialty and hold a Masters (pertaining to specialty field) or is willing to enrol and commence a Masters in the relevant specialty field within two years of the appointment. In addition the applicant must have substantial experience in diabetes education/management for the Type 1, Type 2 and GDM patients, as well as extensive experience in managing patients with Continuous Glucose Monitoring and Continuous Subcutaneous Insulin Infusion.
- Demonstrated experience with research activities, developing and implementing education programmes, with extensive experience in delivering both group and individual diabetes education.
