Child and Youth Mental Health Service Community Clinician
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing and registration with AHPRA or membership with AASW for Social Workers. Clinical Psychologists must have a minimum postgraduate Masters or higher in Clinical Psychology. For Social Work, experience as a Level 2 clinician. Occupational Therapist must have experience as a Level 2 clinician. Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 must have relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification.
- Relevant clinical mental health experience in a community setting which includes working with children and/or adolescents and their families.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills in the assessment, formulation and treatment of young people who are experiencing serious mental health problems
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills in promoting recovery and trauma informed practice including the development of shared decision making practices with young people and families.
