- Qualifications required for classification as Grade 4 Pharmacy Technician (i.e.Hospital Health Pharmacy Support - Certificate IV). Accredited qualifications in management studies of a formal nature recognised by the Health Service.
- Recent hospital pharmacy experience, as a Grade 3 hospital technician.
- High level of self-motivation and ability to work both as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently.
- Ability to liaise with people at all levels and to communicate information clearly and accurately.
- Proven ability to train, support, supervise and manage staff.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and manage own workload, use initiative and apply problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated organisational ability, including capable word processing and computer skills.
