Assistant Management Accountant
An exciting opportunity to be part of the finance team within the Primary and Community Health Team on a temporary part time basis. The successful candidate will be providing support to the Finance and Performance Manager and cost centre managers to make informed decisions and improve performance.

Remuneration: $41.14 - $54.74 per hour

What you'll be doing
The Assistant Management Accountant, reports operationally and functionally to the Senior Management Accountant. The position is responsible for the calculation of various costing and budgeting exercises. The Assistant Management Accountant will support the Business Managers and Divisional Support Accountants in day to day financial management including variance analysis and cost centre support.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, Commerce or Health Administration and/or extensive experience in accounting within a large organisation, preferably within the public sector.
- Advanced computer skills, including high level proficiency with using a recognised Financial Management Information System and MS Office software (particularly Excel, Word and Access).
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply accounting policies, procedures and guidelines applicable to the public sector.
