- Level 1 and 2 must hold a minimum of a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or willingness to undertake this training or other qualification deemed equivalent by NSLHD. Level 3 must hold a certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or other qualification deemed equivalent by NSLHD.
- Identify skills and knowledge in the provision of assistant's activities to provide nutrition support for, Dietitian (AHPs), clients, families and carers as required.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required) as delegated by supervising Dietitian (AHP).
- Ability to work independently under the delegation of a Dietitian (AHP) and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
