Where you'll be working
Assistive Technology & Seating, Macquarie Hospital, North Ryde

What you'll be doing
The principal purpose of this position is to provide an efficient and streamlined service to all team members and is the point of contact to Assistive Technology & Seating for patients, carers and community therapists.
The Office Manager is responsible for all aspects of receptionist, secretarial and clerical work and plays a pivotal role in the overall operation of the Service. This team provides clinical and technical support to clients across NSW, through a combination of in-patient, out-patient, and community-based appointments as well as regular rural clinics.
This complex combination of services is made possible through the work of the Office Manager who assists with the coordination of:
·       Client registration and appointments,
·       Technical requests,
·       Utilisation of the Equipment Loan Pool (ELP),
·       Procurement
·       Rural clinic travel logistics, and
·       Other day-to-day Service operations.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:      

  1. This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as this is a critical component of the role. Please describe how your previous work aligns with this.
  2. Able to effectively job share by ensuring clear communication, organisation and coordination. Please provide examples of any previous experience in a shared work arrangement.
  3. This role will sometimes require the incumbent to work with little formal guidelines, usually under limited direction as to work priorities and the detailed conduct of the task. Please provide examples of your ability to work effectively and independently.
