- Understanding of Medical Terminology , or willingness to undertake training
- Excellent communication skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, confidence in the spoken work and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
- Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment.
- Demonstrated experience in word processing, spread sheet and database software, knowledge of Cerner PAS and profile tracking and electronic stationery ordering.
- Strong organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to triage client telephone calls to the appropriate team member
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
