What you'll be doing
The Family and Carer Program Manager position has a key leadership role across NSLHD MHDA, with primary responsibility for strategic planning and policy based leadership; the position has oversight of the development, direction, implementation, evaluation and support of the organisation, towards improved service delivery and health outcomes for families and carers, in accordance with the Family and Carer Mental Health Program Framework, NSW Health and Standard 2. This includes the leadership and management of Family Worker team and the casual carer peer workforce.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or high-level extensive experience in the management of community and consumer engagement; ability to develop, monitor and achieve outcomes of MHDA and portfolio strategic and business plans, guide and motivate staff through this process.
- Demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience in family and carer practice, evidence based interventions, strategies and policy.
Demonstrated superior organisational, planning and time management skills including being able to effectively organise the workload with competing priorities, limited resources and the complexities of multiple site communications and service delivery.
