- Eligible for full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Specialist with Fellowship of the relevant college
- A current clinical appointment to practice at the hospital
- Demonstrated commitment to and confidence in improving the quality of education and training offered by the hospital
- Demonstrated genuine interest in postgraduate medical education, a willingness to develop expertise in this area, and an understanding of the importance of the continuum of medical education as a lifelong professional commitment
- Evidence of a commitment to the mission of HETI and the ability to present and explain HETI’s goals.
- Demonstrated excellent communication, negotiation, consultative and interpersonal skills, incorporating the ability to liaise and consult with all levels of the health industry, the community and various professional groups.
