  1. Occupational Therapist or Social Worker registered with or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers with at least 5 years full time equivalent post graduate experience, OR Senior Psychologist with at least 8 years post graduate experience, OR Registered Nurse with APHRA with a minimum of at least 5 years full time equivalent, post registration experience and at least 3 years equivalent experience in mental health and post graduate qualifications in mental health nursing or area relevant to clinical specialty.
  2. Proven clinical expertise in working with people experiencing suicidality and their families/ key support people, with demonstrated ability to navigate complex clinical and psycho-social situations.
  3. Proven leadership skills and experience and demonstrated knowledge of change management and/ or project management.
  4. Applied understanding of the principles of person-centred care, trauma-informed care and recovery, as well as in working with Aboriginal people in a holistic, collaborative and respectful way in the context of suicidality.
  5. Excellent applied communication skills in a wide range of settings including verbal and written, and competence in computer skills.
  6. Demonstrated understanding of and skills in co-design processes and practices facilitating these processes.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across disciplines, across the mental health, alcohol and other drugs, and community managed sector, and lived experience consultants, in teams, as well as independently with minimal supervision applying attributes such as courage, integrity, optimism and humour.
  8. Valid unrestricted drivers licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment.
