- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Pharmacist
- Significant pharmacy experience in the area of Mental Health and Hospital Pharmacy
- Demonstrated competence in current drug knowledge, especially but not limited to, psychotropic drug therapy, including the legislation controlling the use of pharmaceuticals
- Proven developed written and oral communication skills including the ability to consult and communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all members of the multidisciplinary team, service managers and consumers
- Demonstrated ability to implement initiatives to ensure continual quality enhancement to the pharmacy service to Mental Health
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the clinical pharmacy area, and ability to mentor and train others.
- Proven understanding of how pharmacists promote and contribute to quality use of medicines in mental health patients and hospitalised patients.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team and have the skills to build and maintain cooperative relationships in the healthcare team.
