- Current registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse (division 2). Recent postgraduate clinical experience in operating theatre/ procedural unit nursing in an acute hospital setting
- Demonstrated understanding of and ability to practice in accordance with legislation, policies and within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse specifically including compliance with the ACORN, GENCA and ANZCA standards
- Understanding of team nursing and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.
- Demonstrated effective communication through the use of information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others
- Knowledge and understanding of quality improvement, person- centred care and evidenced based practice
- Availability and capacity to participate in a 24 hour/ seven-day rotating roster which includes working all shifts, all days of the week including public holidays and participate in the on-call roster.
