Child and Family Health Nurse - Urbenville / Bonalbo

• Current registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) and post-graduate qualifications in child and family health nursing or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to use problem solving skills and a multidisciplinary team approach in the planning, delivery and coordination of patient care
• Demonstrated effective communication through the use of information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others
• Knowledge and understanding of person-centred care, evidence-based practice and quality improvement
• Experience and/or knowledge and understanding of working with families and young children within a community setting- includes experience in working with vulnerable families and a demonstrated understanding of early intervention and implementation of the Child Wellbeing and Child Protection Interagency Guidelines.
• Accreditation as a Registered Nurse Immuniser (or willingness to obtain same within six months of employment)
• Understanding of the principles of primary health care practice and integrated care and their applicability to service delivery.
• Valid unrestricted drivers licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment
