- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in implementing, supporting and managing unified communications solutions covering SIP based telephony systems, instant messaging, video-conferencing, legacy PABX systems and associated server management.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose faults, troubleshoot, undertake minor repairs, compose reports and escalate problems when required on telephony, SOE workstations and videoconferencing equipment.
- Proven written communication skills with experience in writing user manuals, reports, requests for quotations and running training workshops with non-technical users.
- Demonstrated experience with underlying technologies and equipment such as DHCP, DNS, SIP, SIP handsets, Session border controllers and Skype for Business.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (Server and Desktops) and understanding of enterprise networks.
- Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to manage relationships with a wide range of staff, clients and vendors working in and servicing a large Health service organisation.
- Capacity and willingness, including current driver's license valid in NSW, to travel to facilities within the Northern NSW local health district, which may include overnight stay in regional / remote areas.
- Capacity and willingness to participate in an on call roster.
