- Possess organisational skills required to work as an effective team member, in a high pressure, high volume work environment, while setting priorities and monitoring work flows, including a high degree of data input accuracy, based around patient activity.
- Excellent effective communication and customer/ interpersonal skills including the ability to exercise discretion and sensitivity,
- Demonstrated high level computer skills including Microsoft Office products and client based information systems and other database products.
- Demonstrated understanding of the confidentiality guidelines within the Privacy Act.
- Proven ability to learn new concepts and impart learned information to other staff to achieve positive outcomes.
- High Degree of competence with the transcription of Medical Terminology from Clinic Dictation.
