What you'll be doing

The Enrolled Nurse works under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and assists in the provision of safe, evidence based, person centred nursing care in line with the policies, procedures and standards of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and other statutory authorities.
 
The Enrolled Nurse Transition to Practice Program aims to:

  • Provide a structured framework to support the EN with transition into the acute care environment.
  • Assist the EN to consolidate their professional practice as outlined in the Standards for Practice: Enrolled Nurses (NMBA, 2015).
  • Support the EN to develop their skills and knowledge.
