Remuneration: $70,944 - $109,397 per annum, pro rata dependent on qualifications

What you’ll be doing:
Using innovative, evidence-based skills and interventions, you will professionally support individuals seeking assistance with alcohol and drug use. You will take a trauma-informed approach and provide respectful, person-centred care, tailored to individual’s needs. Central to your role will be employing an individualised, holistic approach to care, incorporating comprehensive care planning to address the diverse physical, emotional, and social aspects of each person’s journey.
About the role
Provide a consultation and liaison service across the NNSWLHD to other health professionals and the community on issues related to the management and treatment of alcohol and other drug use for young people. Working to minimise the harmful effects of substance use on young people, by providing and maintaining a high standard of individualised client care through the development, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Service for young people and their families. Providing counselling and case management to young people aged 12-25 years old, who are at risk due to their substance use and providing support to the young person’s family and/or care givers.
