Social Worker Level 3

Selection Criteria to be addressed:

1. Social Worker eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
2. Demonstrated experience in providing social work services, including psychosocial assessment and intervention, in a palliative care or end of life context; assessment of, and interventions for bereavement; and family assessment and intervention skills.
3. Demonstrated ability to provide clinical services requiring advanced practice skills, and apply professional knowledge and judgement when performing novel, complex or critical tasks.
4. Capacity to exercise independent professional judgement when required in solving problems and managing cases where principles, procedures, techniques, and methods require expansion, adaptation, or modification.
5. High level of written and verbal communication and competence in information technology systems.
6. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, liaison, advocacy, and conflict resolution skills and demonstrated ability to work constructively as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
7. Demonstrated ability to participate in organisational and service planning and policy development, including ability to lead, complete and implement quality improvement initiatives.
8. Current unrestricted drivers’ licence (NSW eligibility) and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
