Selection Criteria to be addressed:
- Current registration with AHPRA Registered Midwife (division 1)
- Demonstrated ability to practice in accordance with the Registered Midwife National Competency Standards, Code of Ethics for Midwives, and Code of Professional Conduct for Midwives (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia).
- Recent competent clinical experience in midwifery post-natal care and lactation support with a proven ability to make clinical assessments of postnatal women and neonates
- An understanding of woman centred care and demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality midwifery care.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise workload and deliver care with integrity and accountability.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated computer literacy with eMR and eMaternity systems
