An exciting Permanent Full Time opportunity has become available within the District Quality & Process Improvement Team as a Policy & Print Manager located at the Station Street Office in Penrith. The role will ensure the development/redevelopment, production and printing of documents for patients, carers, and staff; ensuring the management of systems relating to printing including cost containment and efficiencies are carried out in accordance with policy and delegation.
The successful incumbent is responsible for ensuring the maintenance, and continual improvement of the framework for Policy, Procedure, Forms, and patient-related material within NBMLHD. You will lead the District-wide compliance for processes of approval and dissemination of locally developed documents; and the systems for the distribution, tracking and implementation of Ministry of Health Policy Directives, Guidelines, and Information Bulletins.

What you will bring to the role
- Tertiary Qualifications in a health related field and or extensive experience in a health, policy, or administrative environment.
- High level organisational skills, ability to work autonomously and as part of a team across many sites.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, liaise and consult effectively with health professionals, health interests groups and Government agencies at all levels.
- Demonstrated high level computer skills in database and MS Office suite, with very high-level written communication, editing and publishing skills.
- Demonstrated capacity in developing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing Policy and Procedure processes, the use of electronic document management systems and document control principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing print-management systems and evidence of cost efficiency and productivity gains.
- Demonstrated expertise in the development and management of printed material for staff and consumers whilst maintaining Health Literacy requirements and cost efficiencies.
- Current drivers licence and willingness to work across the District when needed.
