Senior Patient Safety and Quality Manager - Nepean Hospital - Temp FT

1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health-related field or relevant equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience that demonstrates a track record in quality, safety and risk management
2. Extensive knowledge of contemporary issues in integrated clinical risk, patient safety and quality systems and standards used to monitor and evaluate health services, including the National safety and Quality and Health Service Standards
3. Demonstrated skills in managing a number of projects concurrently, with varying timeframes and workloads, in a high volume work environment
4. Highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to develop and maintain effect working relationships with clinical teams and senior management
5. Demonstrated high level analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendations across a large and complex organization
6. Demonstrated experience in planning and evaluation at strategic and service levels
7. Demonstrated skills in leadership and motivation and experience in mentoring, coaching and facilitating multidisciplinary teams
8. Proven data analysis skills and the ability to use computer technology effectively in order to collect, monitor and synthesise quantitative and qualitative data from core clinical quality and patient safety systems including ims+
