Nurse Unit Manager 1 - Blue Mountains Older Persons Community Mental Health Team - Perm PT

Selection criteria to be addressed:

1. Registered Nurse (Division 1).
2. Demonstrated extensive mental health clinical skills and experience. Demonstrated extensive experience and understanding of the range of healthy ageing process and common physical, social, cultural and mental health needs of the older person
3. Demonstrated successful management experience and/or proven ability to provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team Including skills and experience in clinical service management, financial management and quality Improvement programs.
4. Demonstrated ability to lead change within the workplace, balance competing demands and motivate staff.
5. Demonstrated knowledge of, and commitment to, a recovery focused model of care, incorporating consumer and carer consultation within the mental health service.
6. Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills with good interpersonal skills, analytical skills and computer literacy.
7. Current NSWs driver’s license and willingness to use same for work purposes.
