Selection criteria to be addressed:

  1. Proven extensive enterprise-level technical experience (7+ years) in Network Operations and Network Engineering roles, demonstrating career progression from Network Engineering positions through to team manager, with broad operational exposure and experience across multiple Vendor technologies such as HPE/Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Avaya UC, Cisco, Wave1, Eaton power systems, Windows and Linux platforms.
  2. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication and reporting skills with the ability to adjust and translate complex technical concepts and issues to match that of the intended audience’s knowledge level
  3. Proven ability to lead and manage network and voice infrastructure architecture and design workshops to deliver innovative solutions in a technologically diverse enterprise environment and experienced managing internal and external 3rd parties to deliver timely support, consultancy and assistance under both operational and project environments
  4. Demonstrated experience with a Service Delivery mindset with a Customer Experience focus, delivering ICT services using the ITIL service management framework while building, supporting and providing governance on capacity, availability, problem and incident management.
  5. Proven ability to successfully manage and deliver complex technology projects within a structured methodology, effectively gathering business requirements and delivering valuable fit-for-purpose solutions that meet the high demands of the business in a reliable and sustainable manner
  6. Proven experience in fostering a working environment where individuals and teams are able to pro-actively explore, promote and experiment with new and innovative ideas that bridge technology and business processes leading to improvements in value and efficiency for all stakeholders across the NBMLHD.
  7. Experienced in supporting operational systems as a Service Owner, providing timely access to requests from end-users, gathering periodically feedback on system utilisation and issues, providing an interface between end-users and Vendors and ensuring technology meets the demands of the business
  8. Must hold a tertiary qualification in Business or Frontline Management with proven extensive experience (3+ years) in pro-actively managing diverse ICT teams to deliver exceptional technology and services in a complex ICT enterprise environment within a structured ITIL framework. Holding relevant qualifications in ITIL and or COBIT, PRINCE2 or Agile and advantage.
