Drug & Alcohol Pharmacist - Grade 2

1. Tertiary qualifications in Pharmacy and current registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA) and after graduation at least 3 years in hospital pharmacy as deemed relevant to the health service.
2. Demonstrated high level of clinical reasoning skills and clinical experience in a health care setting.
3. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of evidence based practice and clinical guidelines for pharmacotherapies in the Drug and Alcohol Service.
4. Demonstrated experience and commitment to working in a medically led multi-disciplinary treatment team based on the principles of patient centred care
5. Proven capacity to prioritise workloads, to work independently and with minimal supervision, and to manage competing work priorities in a timely manner.
6. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
7. Computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word PowerPoint, Excel, and/or Access), Pharmacy Inventory and Dispensing programs
8. Current NSW Driver’s License, availability to work on rosters covering early morning shifts and occasional weekend work, as well as working across clinics in Penrith and the Blue Mountains as per needs of the service
