Selection Criteria to be addressed:
- Tertiary qualifications as a Social Worker, Counsellor, Sexual Assault Counsellor, Welfare Worker or Psychologist and eligibility for registration with a relevant professional body
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of intake and an understanding of early intervention principles
- Experience working with sexual assault and or child protection
- Demonstrated understanding of the dynamics and effects of sexual assault, physical abuse, neglect and domestic violence and best practice models for working with clients who have experienced abuse and/or trauma
- Demonstrated experience in assessment, case management and counselling skills with children, young people and adults
- Experience in or commitment to, working with individuals and families from indigenous backgrounds and/or diverse cultural backgrounds
- Current NSW Drivers licence
