Social Worker or Occupational Therapist Level 3: $112,396.00 - $116,038.00 per annum
Senior Psychologist: $119,206.00 - $129,171.00 per annum
Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2: $113,243.15 - $116,963.48 per annum

NBMLHD Community Mental Health offers a range of specialised services for children, young people, families and older people, through our community-based services and health centres. What you will bring to the role
- Recognised tertiary qualifications as below (or other qualifications deemed equivalent/appropriate by the employer) a) Occupational Therapist: Degree & full registration with AHPRA b) Social Worker: holds as a minimum a bachelor’s degree in social work which provides eligibility for membership with AASW C) Nursing: Relevant post-rego quals & at least 3 yrs experience working in Mental Health or the Disability area related to their specified post-graduate qual & full registration with AHPRA d) Senior Psychologist: An employee with a 4yr degree in psychology, being a 3rd yr degree with a 4th yr Honors in psych and who is registered as a psychologist with AHPRA. Employees appointed at the snr psych level shall satisfy the criteria for the psych classification & have completed a min of 1yr at the 9th yr of service & thereafter point on the salary scale for psych
- Substantial full time post graduate clinical experience, including experience working with consumers living with mental health and intellectual disability with a high level of knowledge, clinical expertise and advanced clinical reasoning
- Demonstrated experience and skills in a range of specialised assessments and interventions suitable for consumers with a mental health problem and a disability, including but not limited to intellectual disability
- Demonstrated experience providing consultation and sharing clinical expertise with teams in a way that builds the capacity of other professionals to enhance their service delivery, including the ability to translate knowledge to both clinical and non-clinical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across inpatient and community settings, with advanced communication and interpersonal skills, to foster cooperative partnerships to support inclusive health care delivery for people with intellectual disabilities
- Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to work autonomously within a broad scope and manage a demanding workload with competing priorities with minimum direct clinical supervision
- Demonstrated ability to work within a recovery orientated framework, including collaborating with consumers, their families and carers, to achieve outcomes that support consumer's recovery
- NSW Drivers licence and willingness to use same for work purposes
