About this role
 
The Team Leader / Executive Officer provides high level professional expertise in the oversight of case administration, strategic and operational management related to health practitioners’ conduct, performance and health to ensure consistent application of Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (NSW). The role may oversee one or more profession specific Councils and support the work of their members and committees. 
This role will ensure that the NSW Health Professional Council’s regulatory mandate to protect the public is delivered through the efficient and effective management of complaints made in relation to health practitioners in NSW.
 
Clerk Grade 9/10, salary from $129,464 to $142,665 plus Super and annual leave loading

About you 
 
You must have experience in managing a team and demonstrate success in achieving operational performance measures. We are looking for individuals with excellent organisational skills and experience in harnessing people, processes and technology to deliver measurable results.
We are also looking for candidates with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will need to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with one or more Councils, regulatory and professional staff, external stakeholders, and service providers. You will be committed to drive knowledge sharing and continuous improvements in this critical area of health regulation.

Working at Health Professional Councils Authority
 
The Health Professional Councils Authority (HPCA) is an executive agency of the NSW Ministry of Health.  We play an important role in protecting the health and safety of the public by supporting the 15 NSW Health Professional Councils in managing complaints about NSW health practitioners.
 
The position is based at the HPCA Pitt Street offices, located only a short walking distance from Central Station and Belmore Park. There are a number of facilities located within the building, including a food court, a rooftop garden, yoga and Pilates sessions, end of trip amenities, including bike storage.
