Role Title: Senior Project Officer, HCM Governance
Salary: Crown Clerk 9/10, starting salary from $129,464- $142,665 plus Super and annual leave loading
Employment Type: Temporary contract until June 2027
Hours: Full-time | 35 hours per week | Hybrid work model (office and remote)

As a Senior Project Officer, you will:
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of HCM systems by gathering requirements, designing solutions, and leading testing and evaluation activities.
- Apply a sharp eye for detail to ensure system and policy designs are accurate, compliant, and fit for purpose.
- Manage policy and program initiatives that support the health workforce, with a focus on attraction, recruitment, and retention strategies.
- Provide expert advice to executives and staff across NSW Health to ensure consistent application of best-practice HCM systems and policies.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the public health system to ensure alignment and effective delivery of HCM initiatives.
About you
We’re looking for a detail-driven, strategic thinker who can navigate complex systems and policies with precision and who:
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of HCM systems including design, implementation, and user engagement.
- Has experience in consulting with internal and external stakeholders to guide policy and project outcomes.
- Builds strong, trusting relationships to support co-design and implementation of policy and system changes.
- Is adept at translating complex technical and policy issues into clear, actionable insights.
- Has the ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
