Role Outline
The General Manager, Prince of Wales and Sydney/Sydney Eye Hospitals and Community Services is a senior operational manager within the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD). The role is responsible for the effective management of both hospitals to ensure the achievement of NSW Ministry of Health and SESLHD objectives.

As a senior position in the LHD, the General Manager contributes to the executive management team and provides significant input to the development and oversight of strategic and business plans, policy development, business and clinical service strategies and relationship management.

  2. Describe your executive management experience and proven track record of achievement in leading a large Health Organisation operating in a complex service delivery environment.
Essential Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated equivalent experience at senior executive level
This is an ongoing, full time, Band 1, Health Service senior executive (HSSE) role. An attractive remuneration package within the range of $239,189 to $261,680 per annum, with annual performance reviews, will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
