Essential Requirements
 
The successful candidate will have:
  • Appropriate qualifications and/or equivalent experience in communication, government relations, community relations, journalism or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing media enquiries, responding to issues raised and presenting convincing arguments to inform the identified audience.
  • Stakeholder, including media, management expertise and experience to navigate government processes (including local government and community engagement).
  • Strong leadership skills including the ability to drive performance in a complex, politically and commercially sensitive environment.
 
This is an ongoing, full time, Band 1, Health Service senior executive (HSSE) role. An attractive remuneration package within the range of $195,562 to $218,616 per annum (SOORT 2019), with annual performance reviews, will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
