Selection Criteria 

  1. Tertiary qualifications relevant to the role or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  2. Demonstrated understanding of NSW and Australian funding models, and the NSW health system.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of financial management principles, structures, processes and practices.
  4. Strong analytical and database skills, with the ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of technology relevant to the role, including Excel.
  5. Ability to support financial and operational data analysis through extraction, filtering and collation from specified information sources.
  6. Ability to effectively monitor and evaluate policies, procedures and standards.
  7. Engage well with others to share information and jointly solve issues and problems.
  8. Ability to clearly explain and present ideas and arguments and remain composed and calm under pressure and in challenging situations.

COVID-19 Vaccination Compliancy 
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine (except for the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine which is approved by the TGA as a single dose primary course). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
