The successful candidate will be responsible for:

·     Greet all visitors and ensure they comply with internal administrative processes, and are attended to by the appropriate staff member

·     Be the first point of contact for all telephone inquiries and walk in visitors, ensuring that they are responded to in a professional manner and referred to the appropriate staff member

·     Deliver a wide range of administrative support functions including (but not limited to) mail and parcel services and deliveries, records management, data entry, diary management, routine purchasing and correspondence, document compilation and distribution, and other reasonable administrative functions as directed


Essential Requirements:

Qualification such as Certificate 3 level in Business Administration Support (or similar) and/or substantial experience in administrative support roles.



This role offers the successful candidate an exciting opportunity to further develop and enhance their skills. The HPCA offers flexible working hours and a supportive work environment.  The position is based at the newly refurbished HPCA Pitt Street offices, located only a short walking distance from Central Station and Belmore Park. There are a number of facilities located within the building, including a food court, a rooftop garden, Yoga and Pilates sessions, bike storage and other amenities. 1.    Give an example of when you had to involve and work with employees from other teams or areas of an organisation to improve a workplace process. Please describe what happened and what the result was.

2.    In this role you may be required to deal with diverse and sometimes challenging stakeholders. Describe a situation where you have had to use sound communication and interpersonal skills to deal with a challenging interaction with a customer / client or stakeholder, explain the outcome?
