We are looking for an experienced Planning and Policy Officer to develop and support the implementation of best practice service planning, capital planning, policies, programs, projects, and activities for the Ministry of Health. Previous experience in health service planning, health policy and or clinical experience would be considered advantageous for this role.
Crown Clerk 9/10, starting salary from $125,693 - $138,510 p.a. plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

What you'll be doing
- Provide advice and support to Branch Directors, Senior Executives, and staff across NSW Health and the Ministry of Health to consistently interpret and apply policies and practices in relation to health capital planning that improves patient outcomes and ongoing sustainability of health services.
- Prepare high quality written advice in the form of reports, briefs, policy, discussion papers, or circulars to inform, respond to requests, or initiate consideration of new policy initiatives.
- Liaise, communicate, and consult with key staff in public health organisations and stakeholder representatives to secure their engagement and ensure effective interface on policy and program development, planning and implementation.
