What you'll be doing
To participate in the development of Cardiology services to patients of Coffs Harbour Health Campus in support of the Clinical Services Plan for the Clinical Network.
To support and facilitate a culture of learning and best practice consistent with a teaching role at Coffs Harbour Health Campus
Provide contemporary comprehensive specialist services for optimal patient outcomes.
Provide and support training to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.
This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer.

- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Cardiologist, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Cardiology at the role delineation of the service including, but not limited to competency in performing transoesophageal echocardiography, supervising and reporting CT coronary angiograms and experience with diagnostic imaging modalities
- Experience in working in a regional centre and integrating cardiology services within large clinical network, with evidence of applying quality improvement in the clinical environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team including utilizing effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
- Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence and willingness to work/travel across the District as required.
